French & Spanish Camp

French & Spanish Language Immersion Camp

Registration is open! Complete details are available on the registration page.

Join us for Summer Camp 2012 at ISB, where local meets global! Children enrolled in French & Spanish Summer Camp will explore a variety of themes, explore visual and movement arts, music, and science, all in a language-immersion environment. In order to promote language acquisition, classroom activities are structured. They can include story time, art projects, movement activities, games, sports, etc. Field trips or in-house workshops will be scheduled weekly based on the week’s theme (details will be added as they are scheduled).

Children with all language levels are welcome. Younger camp groups are conducted in an immersion environment. English may be used occasionally in the older camp groups, depending on the language background of the children, in order to make the experience enjoyable and meaningful for all campers.

French & Spanish Language Immersion Camp is open to children 3.5-9 years old. Campers will be grouped age-wise before camp begins to ensure classes are balanced.

  • French & Spanish  Drama Camp for children entering 2nd-6th grade can be found on the Specialty Camps page.
  • French & Spanish Summer Language Intensive for children entering 4th-6th grade can be found on the Summer Language Intensive page.

Please direct questions about any of ISB’s camp programs to Meredith or Jen, Camp Directors, at camp@isbrooklyn.org.
