More recycling…donated furniture
Thanks to the generosity of many people and organizations – including this hard working ISB parent and staff member team we were able to connect with a school that was closing its doors and no longer in need of its furniture and pick up an entire truck full of desks and chairs for our classrooms. Closets for the classrooms!
The old, peek-a-boo closets have been torn down and the contractors are now building new closets for each classroom, using mostly recycled wood. We are also learning about how to refurbish the slate blackboards, which are in need of some good TLC.
