After School Care Teachers / School Aides

Duties for After School Care include supervising a group of children during after school hours, preparing snack, leading recreational activities (sports, art, etc.) and homework supervision. School Aide duties include organization of arrival and dismissal, lunch and recess supervision and assisting head teachers in the classroom. Advanced knowledge or fluency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.

Candidates should have previous experience working with pre-school and elementary school age students. Current or recent Education students are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have a patient and pleasant demeanor, be able to work collectively, be a problem solver and be able to monitor a classroom.

After Care hours are Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm, with extra hours available on occasion. School Aide hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Positions begin in early September.
